# Terms of service

> Email Fast's terms of service: what you're agreeing to, what we promise, what's not allowed, and how either side can walk away — written to be read.

Canonical: https://emailfast.dev/legal/terms

**The deal.** We provide the Email Fast platform; you use it to send email you have
the right to send, to people who agreed to receive it. You keep ownership of your
content, your lists, and your data. We keep ownership of the platform.

## Your responsibilities

- Send only to recipients who consented; honor unsubscribes (the platform enforces this for you).
- Follow the [acceptable use policy](/legal/aup) — no spam, no phishing, no malware, no deception.
- Keep your API keys secret; rotate them if exposed (one click in the dashboard).
- Provide accurate account information.

## Our responsibilities

- Run the platform with the care described on the [security page](/security).
- Not read, sell, or mine your message content beyond operating the service — with
operator access recorded in a tamper-evident transparency log you can inspect.
- Give you your data on request, in usable formats, including on exit.
- Tell you plainly when something goes wrong that affects you.

## Early access

During early access the service is provided as-is while live-sending infrastructure
comes online in stages; features marked as arming at launch are described accurately
on their pages. Pricing shown is launch pricing; you will never be charged without
explicitly starting a paid plan.

## Suspension & termination

We may suspend sending that violates the acceptable-use policy — the platform's
protections (reputation breakers, content policy) act automatically, and a human
reviews every enforcement action. You may leave at any time; export tools and, where
enabled, key revocation are yours to use. On termination we delete your data per the
retention schedule in the [privacy policy](/legal/privacy).

## The legal necessities

The service is provided without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose; our
total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before a claim.
These terms are governed by German law. Disputes go first to a good-faith
conversation: **hello@emailfast.dev**.
