# Segment integration

## Set it up

1. Create a secret API key in your Email Fast dashboard.
2. In Segment, add a webhook destination pointing at the Email Fast Segment endpoint with the key.
3. Optionally set a shared signing secret so inbound calls are HMAC-verified before they are applied.

## What it does

This is an inbound source: it streams events into your Email Fast contacts and behavior events, where lifecycle journeys can enroll and branch on them.
